002- Tango Argentina Steak House
If you like steak you should check this place out! I had my birthday dinner in tango argentina steak house, I have been craving for steak for weeks. I literally ate nothing that morning to get an empty stomach for the steak!
Location is quite easy to find staffs are friendly the vibe is chill, you know you will open a bottle here, especially I am celebrating my birthday!
Menu selection are ok, more stuff are on the heavy slide. You will definitely need some wine to clean down your palate. They do have wide range of Argentina wine for you to choose price range are about $400 to $600 a bottle.
We ordered octopus ceviches to start not my favorite, octopus is actually quite hard to manage. If you can’t get fresh one, boy nope! Is all about their texture fresh octopus is sweet, tender and succulent so good, but the frozen one is kinda rubbery. The octopus ceviches I will give it a pass, yup pass to the next person please.
We ordered the ground beef empanadas nothing really special crispy on point with in my expectation, I just hope it can be bigger because that is hard to share.
Next thing we ordered the old style provoleta, I mean is basically dipping nice crunchy mellow bread in melty cheese. How can it be not good? And their bread is delicious we refilled twice, I give a thumbs up to this course.
I ordered a blood sausage, flavor is nice but the sausage is really hard to cut nicely. when we start to cut it, it just burst out! Like the whole thing deconstructed back to the second it became a sausage.
And then we have our steak!!!!!!!! The steak is a monster he is huge, we barely can finish it, consider we have three people. We ask for medium rare it came to us medium rare, please give around of applause!! Perfectly cook like bloody and tender, steak quality I give it 4 out 5 points. They also provide 6 different sauces for you to pair with the steak, how thoughtful! They have salsa, ketchup, chimichurri! I am satisfied with the steak I have been waited a week long, I deserved this.
Over all is a nice restaurant for steaks I will probably go back again. But one sad thing I did mention on my booking that we are celebrating my birthday, but I did not receive any extras or celebration like chocolate writing on the plate or staff saying happy birthday to me. Maybe because we did not order dessert, but seriously we are too full to have dessert. They did give us some cookies at the end, I don’t know is that for my birthday or it actually just complement snacks for guests? Anyway good steaks!
